There are 12 complementary walking paths to discover. This is a way to get to know the Algarve on shorter routes, which you can do in one day.

These are complementary and circular trails, that you can do in just one day. This is an opportunity to extend your stay in places of greater natural and cultural interest.

Signage to guide you along the Short Distance Paths

The signage to follow includes signposts and direction arrows, informative arrows and interpretive panels. In addition, “Grande Randonnée” (GR) (Long Distance Path) codes (certified by the Federação de Campismo e Montanhismo de Portugal) have been painted on numerous natural surfaces, such as rocks, to signal the direction of the route, as shown in the image below.
